San Antonio's best taprooms, bars, dives, breweries, alehouses, saloons, taverns, cocktail lounges, nightclubs, pubs and cabarets; not to mention brewhouses, beer gardens and holes in the wall.
I'm glad to see this bar re-open. I have one vivid memory of this bar. I had given my grandmother one last kiss before we walked to the Esquire for a break from the bedside vigil at the Nix. We were sitting in the bar telling stories about my grandmother when we got the call from my mother saying she was finally at peace. We raised our beers in one last toast to her...
